Mediation
Although at CH we understand that litigation can sometimes be a necessary step, our experience is that where possible and at the right time, it is in the interests of all concerned to try to reach a resolution to a dispute, and move on.
Mediation can be a useful and cost effective way to resolve formal disputes. It can also be a way to diffuse difficulties between colleagues which will otherwise affect the productivity of those affected and, if unresolved, are likely to have a much wider impact, both on the individuals concerned and the wider business. Jamie and Andrew have consistently achieved fantastic results for their clients via mediation, which typically delivers a more commercial resolution than the litigation process.
Andrew is also an experienced mediator, having acted as a mediator for many years. His experience ranges from workplace disputes through to complex litigation. He has also acted on many high value and complex litigation cases throughout his career, a number of which have ended up in mediation. Therefore, Andrew has experience of mediation from ‘both sides’.
As a mediator, Andrew is approachable and pragmatic, and uses his skills to bring parties together at the right time, and is tenacious in finding a resolution. He will continue to work with the parties to achieve such resolution after the mediation day, for so long as the parties need him and there is prospect of settlement.
